Mike Grutka is a singer songwriter from Saratoga Springs, NY. His music has been played on a combined 350+ commercial, non commercial, college and AAA stations nationwide and in Canada. He is currently beginning a tour behind his most recent release "Ria" -"Definitely one of the best of 2009 from the 518" Chris Wienk, 97.7 WEXT Albany, NY, and the upcoming 'February Sessions".
His album 'Reach" (A joyful splurge of rhythmic tunes…Tom Diamopolous, The Saratogian) produced the minor AC hit 'Song for the Rain' which was played on over 40 commercial radio stations gaining airplay on AC/Modern AC/AAA/Hot AC and Country format stations. It charted #12 Indie Up and Coming ACQB and #29 Top 30 Indie Top 30 ACQB.

The bands were chosen by 102.7 WEQX and Mike's band, Mike Grutka Project, performed with They Might Be Giants, World Party, Nightmare of You, and As Fast As. A tour behind the record took them to cities and towns across the northeast including stops in Burlington, VT, NYC, Philadelphia, PA, Newport RI, and a stop at the Millennium Music Conference.
"Ria" was released digitally in the fall of 2009. The song "Denver (Spinning Around)" charted #15 for 2009 at WEXT 97.7 Albany NY. It has been added to the playlist of over 150 stations and counting.
